As our Senior Copywriter, you are an experienced storyteller who brings our voice to life. You are the one defining and executing our voice and lead the charge in all conversations with how we express it as a brand. Creating interesting ideas that are both thoughtful and on-brand is what you do. You also know the ins and outs of website copy, interactive scripts, online marketing material, performance copy to name a few. Writing is your happy place, but you’ve got a wide experience of all channels—social media, online marketing, and traditional advertising. You’re a caring leader who can champion a creative direction with team mates and be an inspiring mentor to junior creatives.
What You’ll Do:
- Show a high level of skill throughout the creative process, from the beginning stages of concept, leading creatives through the development/approval of the idea with other brand partners
- Be knowledgeable in a wide variety of creative: taste, aesthetics, concept, storytelling & design, physical brand experiences and knowledge building into social platforms
- Grow/develop more junior creatives so that they feel a deep sense of our creative community, empowered to create and guide them on how to grow in their role and beyond
- Work well with other brand creatives, directors to create excellence across tone, style and messaging
- Work well with cross functional partners to ensure they’re a part of the process in creating excellence
What We’re Looking For:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience with a BA, BFA Arts/Fine Arts
- Studio or Client-side Experience
- Experience mentoring and leading creatives
- Proficiency in a variety of writing styles applicable in multiple channels
- Demonstrated experience creating conceptual campaigns in all areas of storytelling
- High level of maturity, self-awareness, leadership and organizational skills
