Key Objective of the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Automotive Content Writer to create and maintain high-quality, informative, and user-friendly product content for the carandbike.com platform. This role supports the product content team in simplifying complex Automotive information and enhancing the platform’s value for users during their vehicle discovery and buying journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear and engaging content including product overviews, feature breakdowns, variant summaries, and specification-driven articles.
• Develop comparison pieces, FAQs, and listicles based on editorial direction and user interest
• Collaborate with SEO and editorial teams to update content following new vehicle launches, variant changes, or feature updates
• Ensure all content meets internal standards for quality, tone, accuracy, and editorial consistency
• Integrate basic SEO elements such as keywords, internal linking, and metadata to improve discoverability

Work closely with video and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging across formats and platforms

Role Specifications

Educational Qualification: 

Bachelor’s in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Bachelor’s in Journalism, Mass Communication, or Media Studies

Years and type of experience: 

1+ Year (Automotive journalism and Digital content creation)

Competencies: 

• ·      Strong writing skills with a clear understanding of automotive terminology and consumer needs.
• ·      Prior experience in automotive journalism and content writing  
• ·      Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content optimization
• ·      Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
