Key Skills:
Excellent command over Hindi with a flair for storytelling and cultural nuance
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Hindi and English
Ability to simplify complex topics (especially financial concepts) into clear and relatable Hindi
Skilled in creating customer-facing Hindi copy for campaigns, creatives, and digital content
Basic understanding of branding, tone of voice, and content strategy
Strong interpersonal skills for on-site collaboration with teams
Time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
Responsibilities
Content Creation – Write persuasive Hindi content for marketing campaigns, web/app, social media, videos, and offline collaterals.
Translation – Translate the company’s marketing and internal communication content from English to Hindi, ensuring accuracy, tone consistency, and cultural relevance.
Localization & Transcreation – Adapt and culturally localize content to resonate with Hindi-speaking audiences while maintaining brand voice and intent.
Financial Simplification – Break down complex financial terms, products, and services into plain, understandable Hindi — suitable for semi-urban and rural audiences.
Research & Insights – Conduct research on Hindi-speaking audience behavior, preferences, and cultural trends to craft relevant and effective content.
Brand Consistency – Ensure all Hindi content aligns with the company’s tone, messaging, and brand guidelines.
Collaboration – Work closely with on-site teams, designers, and fellow writers at the Kurla office to ensure cohesive messaging.
Proofreading & Editing – Review Hindi content thoroughly for grammar, clarity, and style, ensuring it is error-free and polished.
Feedback Integration – Revise and refine content based on input from managers and other stakeholders.
External Coordination – Liaise with language agencies and freelancers for outsourcing work such as large-scale translations or typesetting projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
AI-Native Mindset – Comfortable using AI tools for content support, translation, ideation, and workflow efficiency — understands how to collaborate with AI while maintaining human nuance and brand tone.
