Job Title: SEO Analyst
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SEO Analyst with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in optimizing US-based SaaS and B2B websites to drive measurable organic growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in keyword, topic, and intent research, on-page, off-page, and technical SEO, along with experience optimizing content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI-driven search experiences (SEO, AEO, GEO). This role involves implementing structured data, strengthening topical authority through entity-based SEO, improving Core Web Vitals, and collaborating with content, product, and engineering teams to enhance overall search performance. A data-driven mindset, familiarity with CMS platforms like WordPress, and a clear understanding of SaaS/B2B buyer journeys are essential to increasing qualified organic traffic and supporting business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Perform keyword, topic, and intent research for SEO, AEO, and GEO strategies.
- Optimize content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and AI-generated answers.
- Plan and execute on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.
- Implement structured data (schema) to support AEO and rich results.
- Work on entity-based SEO and topical authority.
- Improve Core Web Vitals and technical performance.
- Make on-page updates and manage content using WordPress and other CMS platforms.
- Use basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support SEO implementation and front-end fixes.
- Track performance using GA4 and Google Search Console.
- Stay updated with Google algorithm updates, SGE, and AI search trends.
- Build high-quality backlinks and support digital PR efforts.
- Prepare performance reports and clear, actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of modern SEO, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience with AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), or a clear willingness and ability to learn fast.
- Solid skills in keyword, topic, and intent research for different types of search (traditional, conversational, and AI-driven).
- Experience optimizing for featured snippets, People Also Ask, and other SERP features.
- Good knowledge of entity-based SEO, semantic search, and building topical authority.
- Practical experience with WordPress CMS, including installing plugins, updating content, and managing site structure.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CSS to adjust on-page elements, fix minor layout issues, and implement SEO best practices.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and how it can affect rendering, indexing, and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with structured data (schema.org) and tools used to create, test, and validate markup.
- Strong grasp of Core Web Vitals and page speed optimization concepts.
- Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools (such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Ability to analyze data, spot patterns, and turn insights into clear action plans.
- Up-to-date awareness of Google algorithm updates, SGE, and AI search trends.
- Good written communication skills for collaborating with content writers and explaining SEO recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail, a curious mindset, and comfort with testing, iterating, and learning from experiments.
Preferred:
- Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications.
- Experience with e-commerce SEO.
- Knowledge of local SEO strategies.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
