CareVicinity exists to give people more choice and control over their care by connecting them with trusted independent support workers. We’re growing, and so is the way we tell our story.

We’re looking for a Social Media & Video Content Creator to help bring our brand, people and community to life across social media. Working closely with our Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll create social-first content from concept and filming through to editing and publishing across organic and paid channels.

We want our content to feel like the people behind CareVicinity: genuine, relatable and human. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape our content from the ground up, experiment with new ideas and create work with a real purpose behind it.

If you’re constantly saving content ideas, spotting trends and thinking “we could make something out of that”, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll create content across three key CareVicinity audiences:

  • Our Clients: Creating relatable, informative content that builds trust and helps people understand their care options.
  • Our Providers: Showcasing opportunities, stories and information that connects providers with the CareVicinity community.
  • Our Coordinators: Helping them understand how CareVicinity can support their clients and make accessing care easier.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and edit engaging short-form video content for paid and organic social channels, from fast-turnaround native content to polished productions.
  • Develop audience-focused concepts, hooks and messaging, producing multiple creative variations for Meta testing and optimisation.
  • Repurpose business messages, customer stories and industry topics across Reels, Stories, Shorts, paid ads and other social formats.
  • Manage the social content calendar and support publishing and community engagement alongside the Digital Marketing Manager.
  • Stay across social trends and emerging formats, using performance insights to improve future content.
  • Use AI tools to support ideation, scripting, editing and production while maintaining an authentic, human feel.
  • Help build a consistent CareVicinity brand voice and support broader digital campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and external production partner on larger shoots and campaign creative.
  • Use AI tools for ideation, scripting, editing, repurposing and content production while keeping content authentic and platform-native.
  • Build and maintain a content library of reusable assets, footage and templates to support efficient, consistent content creation.

What we’re looking for

  • Hands-on experience creating social media content for a brand, agency or your own established channels.
  • Strong short-form video creation and editing skills.
  • A strong understanding of how content needs to change between platforms.
  • A natural understanding of hooks, storytelling, trends and audience behaviour.
  • Confidence taking an idea from concept → filming → editing → publishing.
  • Experience using video editing and content creation tools
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • The confidence to work with different people across the business to capture content.
  • Curiosity and a willingness to experiment, test ideas and learn from what performs.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience creating content in healthcare, disability, community services or another people-focused industry.
  • Experience managing brand social media accounts.
  • An understanding of paid social and how organic creative can be adapted for advertising.
