We are looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern interested in starting a SWEET career at our global corporate headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey.

The assignments will provide valuable exposure and experience in areas of:

• Assist the communications team with key aspects of social media management.
• Play a hands-on role with community management from social listening to engaging fans and shaping our voice across brand socials.
• Bring forward new ideas and brainstorm social concepts to help drive brand growth for all brands.
• Develop an understanding of the day-to-day requirements of a social media marketer.
• Work across multiple brands within the PIM Brands portfolio.
• Analyze performance metrics - Turn data into actionable insights, guiding future social media strategies and content recommendations.
• Play a part in shaping the voice and social media presence for some of Americas favorite candy and snack food brands. This includes opportunities to assist with giveaways, collaborations, and in-person programs, learning how to execute ideas that engage audiences while driving brand goals.
• Hands on experience with major social platforms- actively managing/growing comminutes across TikTok, Meta and various other platforms. This exposure will help them become proficient in platform-specific strategies and social media best-practices. 
• They'll learn how to turn data into actionable insights, guiding future social media strategies and content recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Rising Junior in college/university, pursuing Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better
• Finger on the pulse of social media, marketing, and community engagement
• Strong business acumen and analytical ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal and organization skills and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
• Self-motivated and bias for action.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Demonstrated personal and professional values.
• Must be obsessed with staying up to date on social media and cultural trends

Required Skills/Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as effective problem solving and organizational skills.
• Have access to housing and reliable transportation.
• Able to work a 40-hour week, beginning June 2nd, 2025.
• Must be able to work in the office Monday thru Thursday; Friday is Work from Home 

It would be sweet if you also had: 

• Knowledge of and passion for the specific business you are interested in at PIM Brands  
• Strong passion for and knowledge of the Food and CPG industry
• Leadership experience on or off campus
