Description

The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study, and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high. 

Inpatient:  Looking for an opportunity to see firsthand how Mayo’s phlebotomy labs play an integral role in a patient’s life her at Mayo Clinic? Phlebotomy has been said to be the gateway to the body and here at Mayo, lab work is a vital part of the treatment for a patient in the hospital. We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to assist in our busy and fast-paced environment. You will get to experience the daily pace of lab life, see the practical application of helping diagnose patients in the hospital setting.



Qualifications

•   Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
•   Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program.
•   Must be returning to college in the fall.
•   Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks. 
•   Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program

SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
