Senior Development Copywriter

Young Americans For Liberty
Full-time
Remote
United States

Great writing doesn’t just inform. It moves people.

Young Americans for Liberty is building the strongest liberty movement in the country by training young activists, winning legislative fights, and helping elect lawmakers who will transform our states into beacons of liberty.

This mission doesn’t manifest from good intentions. It scales with committed donors. That’s why we’re hiring a Senior Development Copywriter to write in the voice of our Founder & CEO and persuade high-dollar supporters to invest in winning through impactful storytelling.

If you’re the kind of writer who can take raw updates, results, and internal victories and turn them into compelling, donor-ready storytelling—while capturing someone else’s voice with precision—this role is built for you.

About the role

You will help drive high-dollar fundraising by crafting clear, persuasive donor communications that sound unmistakably like our Founder & CEO, and that consistently deliver on time.

Your writing will show donors what we’re accomplishing, what we’re building next, and why their support is urgently needed right now.

This is a fast-paced role for a writer who thrives under a deadline, can manage multiple priorities, and enjoys consistently producing high-quality work that directly impacts fundraising outcomes. You don’t need to be a political expert today, but you must be capable of researching complex issues quickly and writing about them confidently.

This position reports directly to YAL’s Vice President of Development.
📍 Location: Remote (minimal travel)
