JOB DESCRIPTION:
The PPC Specialist will work collaboratively to build, manage, optimize, and evolve our PPC and Social Ad client accounts. Driving quality conversions for our clients through Google Ads and Social Media Ads is at the heart of this role. As a PPC Specialist, you will be responsible for commanding client relationships, developing and executing data-driven strategies, continuously monitoring and optimizing campaigns, and leading strategic conversations that provide guidance to clients and internal teams.
Your role extends beyond the day-to-day management of campaigns. You will be expected to navigate challenging conversations with clients, uncover actionable insights, develop innovative processes, manage external partners, and contribute to the overall growth and success of our clients' digital marketing efforts. This will involve directing collaboration with various departments, such as web development and client success, to ensure a comprehensive approach to PPC and Social Ads.
As a PPC Specialist, you will demonstrate a deep understanding of the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices. You will leverage this knowledge to create compelling ad copy, optimize landing pages, and develop targeted keyword strategies that maximize ROI for our clients. The ideal candidate thrives in an agency setting, has very strong communication skills to interact with clients and external partners, and can confidently explain PPC insights and strategies in a way that drives alignment and action.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The PPC Specialist will be expected to know the ins and outs of PPC and Social Ads campaigns and how to best execute them as the primary PPC strategist for assigned accounts.
- Client Communication & Strategy: Serve as the primary PPC expert for assigned accounts, leading client communications via email and calls to discuss performance, recommendations, and strategy. Command conversations during client kick-off calls, onboarding meetings, and other client interactions as needed.
- Pay-per-click Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and execute data-driven PPC strategies using keyword analysis, A/B testing, and campaign optimization. Uncover actionable insights to maximize ROI and continuously monitor campaigns to ensure alignment with client goals.
- Landing Page Optimization & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Direct collaboration with web development teams to create new and optimize existing landing pages for maximum PPC conversions.
- Google Suite Mastery: Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the full range of Google products, including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Tag Manager, Google Looker Studio, Gmail, and Google Drive.
- Keyword Research & Campaign Development: Conduct in-depth research to inform new and existing PPC campaigns.
- Performance Analysis & Strategic Reporting: Monitor and confidently present monthly performance reports on clients' Facebook and Google Ads campaigns, focusing on KPIs. Navigate performance discussions and provide data-driven updates and recommendations to client success managers.
- Ad Copy Creation & Content Strategy: Craft engaging, positive, and authentic ad copy for Google Ads and Facebook Ads, adhering to best practices and platform-specific constraints. Develop ad content that highlights the unique selling propositions and differentiators of client accounts.
- Data Analysis & Strategic Implementation: Examine PPC campaign data to uncover actionable insights that inform strategy and drive the development of new processes. Lead implementation of these processes efficiently to enhance clients' PPC performance continuously.
- Time & Project Management: Manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines across a high volume of client accounts while managing external partners and contractors.

- Agency PPC Experience: 2+ years of experience in a PPC-focused agency environment, managing multiple client accounts and relationships.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Google Ads Certified
- 2+ years Google Ads and Meta Ads experience with proven client communication and relationship management skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Marketing, Website Development, Digital Media, etc.)
- Ability to communicate PPC concepts effectively in client meetings and lead strategic discussions
- Experience managing external contractors or agency partnerships (preferred)
- Experience with call tracking / CRM platforms (GoHighLevel, CallRail, etc.)
- Deep understanding of Google and Meta Ads conversion tracking
