Organic Growth Lead (SEO / AEO)


Everstage is hiring a Discoverability Lead to own how buyers find us through search and AI. A growing share of our buyers research sales compensation software through AI assistants like ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews before they ever visit a website. This role owns Everstage's visibility across both traditional search and these AI answer engines, and builds the AI-driven systems that let a small team do it at scale.

What you'll own


  • Build the systems that let a lean team punch above its size. This is the core of the role: an agentic content workflow that uses AI for research, drafting, and publishing prep, and automated AEO monitoring that tracks citations and share of answer across AI engines.

  • The answer-space strategy: which search queries and AI prompts we target, prioritized by fit with our RevOps and Finance buyers and informed by your monitoring data and competitive benchmarking.

  • The content and technical work that earns this visibility: top-funnel to bottom-funnel pages, schema and structured data, and the entity relationships that help AI engines understand and cite Everstage.

  • The execution model: you’ll work with our external website and content partner, who supports delivery today, and shape how work is split between in-house and partner as the function grows.

  • A roadmap you set, measure against clear KPIs, and align with the sales and content teams.


What success looks like


Success is measured at three levels:


  • Primary: growth in Everstage's citation rate and share of answer across AI engines for the queries our RevOps and Finance buyers ask. This is the clearest signal that the right audience is discovering us.

  • Supporting: the volume and quality of non-paid demand - organic and AI-sourced sessions, leads, and content downloads.

  • Outcome: the non-paid pipeline and SQLs this visibility generates over time.


You’ll own the first level directly, contribute heavily to the second, and share the third with BD and sales.


This role is a great fit for you if you


  • Bring product-management instincts to growth work: you start from the problem behind a search query and the buyer behind it.

  • Understand how LLMs retrieve, rank, and cite sources, and can design content and structure around how they work.

  • Have built or orchestrated agentic and automated workflows with modern AI tooling - agent frameworks, workflow automation (for example n8n or Zapier), and LLM APIs. You create leverage by building systems, not only by executing tasks.

  • Can build and run an AEO measurement program: define a tracked prompt set, measure citation and share of answer across AI engines, and use the results to guide the roadmap.

  • Can read a Search Console or LLM-visibility export and turn it into a prioritized plan.

  • Are hands-on and comfortable owning strategy through execution in a lean setup.

  • Bring 5-7 years in SEO or organic growth, ideally in B2B SaaS.

  • Work cross-functionally to get content, pages, and technical changes shipped.

  • Understand, or can quickly learn, a technical buyer (For Everstage, that’s the RevOps and Finance leaders who own the comp number and the audit).


Nice to have


  • Hands-on experience with AEO and LLM-visibility tools such as Profound/Otterly/Slate

  • Experience implementing schema and structured data.

  • Familiarity with the RevOps, sales comp, or ICM category.

  • A track record of running and honestly evaluating SEO or AEO experiments.
