The Marketing Intern plays a key role in supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, event success, and organizational growth. This role works closely with the Marketing team to execute campaigns, manage digital content, support events, and contribute creative ideas that enhance overall marketing impact.

What You’ll Do
Marketing Campaign & Content Support
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing and advertising activities, including social media, digital advertising, and email campaigns
- Manage social media scheduling, develop content calendars aligned with corporate initiatives, and track engagement metrics
- Coordinate with subject‑matter experts to support blog creation, formatting, and publishing on the company website
- Audit, organize and play a key role in re-formatting and enhancing users’ experience through technical content
Event & Trade Show Support
- Assist with planning and delivering materials for the annual Reliability Summit, including program assets and email communications
- Support trade show preparation by gathering required materials, coordinating shipments, and assisting with on‑site or remote event needs
- Contribute to event‑related tasks such as venue coordination and logistics
Marketing Operations & Project Coordination
- Assist with the production, inventory management, and distribution of print and digital collateral
- Provide administrative and project management support to the Marketing team as needed
- Collaborate with team members across departments to ensure smooth execution of strategic marketing initiatives

Software & Technology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
- Experience with project management or collaboration tools
- Exposure to online marketing tools such as CRM systems, email builders, and social media schedulers
- Basic familiarity with Adobe Suite (InDesign, XD, Illustrator, Acrobat) preferred
Additional Responsibilities

- Learn and support quality management system processes
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Marketing Manager or Director
Company Standards & Work Environment
This internship is based in Indianapolis, Indiana, with a hybrid requirement of at least two days per week onsite at the Northwest‑side office. An appropriate at‑home workspace is required for remote days.
All employees must follow POLARIS Laboratories® safety and training standards. When entering laboratory areas, appropriate PPE (including eye protection) is required. Team members receive training for proper PPE use and are responsible for reporting any issues. Employees must maintain current HAZMAT, OSHA, RCRA, and General Laboratory Safety training per POLARIS Laboratories’ Quality System guidelines.
