Who We’re Hiring:

Doswell Operating Group is searching for a Marketing Intern to join us for the Summer of 2026!  The Marketing Intern will be a hands-on contributor responsible for executing and supporting a wide range of marketing initiatives.  This role is ideal for a creative, self-directed marketer with experience in social media management, content creation, and graphic design – especially within construction or home services environments.

This role will work closely with leadership and operations teams to create compelling content, strengthen brand presence, and support growth across multiple channels.

What You’ll Do:

  • Social Media & Digital Marketing
    • Manage and execute social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
    • Plan, schedule, publish, and monitor content calendars.
    • Engage with audiences, respond to comments and messages, and monitor brand reputation.
    • Track performance metrics and provide insights for optimization.
  • Content Creation (Photo & Video)
    • Capture and produce high-quality photo and video content on job sites, in offices, and at events.
    • Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media, websites, and advertising.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to tell real-world stories from the field.
    • Maintain an organized digital asset library.
  • Graphic Design & Brand Support
    • Design marketing assets such as social media graphics, flyers, digital ads, presentations, and internal materials.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all visual and written materials.
    • Support brand development and refinement as the organization grows.
  • Marketing Support & Collaboration
    • Assist with website updates, landing pages, and basic SEO content.
    • Support email marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives.
    • Collaborate with leadership, sales, and operations teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
    • Assist with campaign planning, execution, and reporting.


Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

  • Currently attending a four-year college or university studying Marketing or a related field OR completed a marketing/design program in high school.
  • Proficiency with graphic design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Preferred skills/experience
    • Experience in construction, home services, trades, or related industries
    • Familiarity with marketing for multi-location or multi-brand organizations
    • Experience with basic paid advertising (social media or search)
    • Working knowledge of CMS platforms (WordPress or similar)
      • Working knowledge of SMM platforms (Sprout preferred)
