Marketing Intern

The opportunity

The Marketing Intern contributes to the execution of marketing programs and campaigns that help drive outcomes across The Hammond Centre and HammondCare.

This role reports into the Marketing Manager and will work closely with the marketing and communications team and wider organisation to raise the profile of The Hammond Centre and HammondCare among the health and aged care sector and our local communities.

What do I need?

The Marketing Intern is an entry level position, working three days a week. Previous experience in internships or on-the-job marketing experience is of value. This position will suit a final year student studying a marketing, communications or business degrees (with a marketing or communications major), who is or has:

• Currently completing a university degree and seeking to gain experience within a high performing marketing and communications team
• A skilled writer able to tailor complex messages to diverse audiences
• Passionate about storytelling and developing content in multiple formats for multiple channels
• A digital native with a solid understanding of digital marketing and communications platforms and how to use them for impact
• A can-do attitude – willing to get stuck into any task big or small
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
• Able to understand data and make recommendations to inform planning
• Energetic, proactive and a collaborative team player
• An empathetic and compassionate person who has a heart for Australians in need
