About the Role
Cumberland Hospitality Group is seeking a Social Media & Marketing Intern for Summer
2025. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity for a creative and motivated student to gain practical experience in social media management, content creation, and event marketing within the hospitality and entertainment industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in creating engaging content, including photos, videos, and graphics, for social media platforms
• Plan, schedule, and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
• Monitor and engage with online communities by responding to comments and messages
• Research industry trends and contribute creative campaign ideas
• Support event promotions, email marketing, and digital advertising efforts
• Analyze social media performance and track engagement metrics
• Assist with influencer outreach and partnership collaborations
• Capture live content at events, concerts, and brand activations
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in a Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related program
• Passion for social media, digital marketing, and event promotion
• Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of Canva, Adobe Suite, or video editing software is a plus
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Must be available for occasional weekend or evening events
