Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Intern will support a variety of marketing initiatives across AJA’s divisions. This role offers hands-on experience in content creation, branding, digital marketing, and cross-functional collaboration, making it an excellent opportunity for students interested in gaining real-world marketing experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of marketing materials in alignment with company branding guidelines, including sales collateral, presentations, trade show materials, and digital assets.
Assist with drafting and editing content for marketing communications such as emails, brochures, presentations, and website content.
Collaborate with internal teams to support company events, campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
Help maintain website content by reviewing for accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment.
Assist with basic social media and digital marketing efforts as needed (content support, scheduling, or analytics exposure).
Conduct light market or competitor research to support ongoing marketing projects.
Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas for marketing campaigns and process improvements.
Support additional marketing projects and administrative tasks as assigned by the Marketing Communications Manager.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal teams and external partners.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute creatively.
Technical Skills (Preferred, not required)
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design tools is a plus.
Basic understanding of HTML, content management systems, or digital marketing tools is helpful but not required.
Education & Experience
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
Currently pursuing a B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
High school interns will be considered based on relevant coursework, skills, and demonstrated interest in marketing.
