About The Role

As a Marketing Intern, you will support the marketing department across a range of digital and social media initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a professional environment. This paid, hourly, full-time role is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who wants to apply classroom knowledge to real-world projects. You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to help execute campaigns, create content, and support day-to-day communications efforts that enhance brand awareness and engagement.


What You'll Do

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Support social media marketing efforts by drafting, scheduling, and publishing content on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X (Twitter).
  • Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and help maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
  • Conduct basic market and competitor research to inform campaign strategies and content ideas.
  • Gather and organize performance data from digital and social campaigns, helping to prepare simple reports and insights.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop marketing materials, including email copy, social posts, and basic visuals or briefs for the design team.
  • Assist with internal and external communications, ensuring messages are clear, on-brand, and delivered on schedule.
  • Support the coordination and promotion of marketing initiatives, events, and other departmental activities as needed.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends, suggesting new ideas to improve engagement and reach.
  • Perform general administrative and project support tasks for the Marketing department as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, an undergraduate program in Marketing, Communications, or a closely related field.
  • Up to 1 year of relevant experience through internships, part-time roles, or academic projects in marketing or communications.
  • Foundational knowledge of digital marketing principles and channels (e.g., social media, email, web, content).
  • Basic familiarity with social media marketing best practices and major platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
  • Comfortable creating, editing, and proofreading marketing and social media content with attention to detail.
  • Ability to use standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, and basic project management tools).
  • Organized and able to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and receptive to feedback and coaching from more experienced team members.
  • Eligibility to work full-time in an hourly, paid internship position for the duration of the internship term.
