About Role: At EazyGrad, we’re on a mission to make learning more accessible and career-focused. We’re looking for a Head of SEO who doesn’t just know SEO — but owns it. Someone who wakes up thinking about the number, drives a team of strong executors to deliver it, and builds EazyGrad’s organic engine from the ground up. As search evolves beyond traditional rankings, you’ll lead strategy across SEO, AEO (Answer Engine Optimization), GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and Programmatic SEO (pSEO) — making EazyGrad the most visible online degree platform across Google Search, AI Overviews, and emerging discovery platforms.
Experience: 4-7 years of experience (Ed-tech preferred)
Location: Janakpuri, New Delhi
Mode: In-Office (5.5 Working Days)
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute the full roadmap across SEO, AEO, GEO, and pSEO to maximize organic visibility, rankings, and conversions..
- Own the organic growth number - indexed pages, DA, keyword rankings, and organic leads. You report these directly to the founder every week.
- Set the direction for our strong executors. Your job is to give them clarity on priorities, review their output, and hold team accountable to weekly targets.
- Build and own the content stack end to end content calendar, briefs, quality review, freshness audits, and publish velocity.
- Drive the pSEO engine, scale programmatic page templates across university × course × city on the CMS to reach targeted indexed pages within 60 days.
- Build a scalable link acquisition strategy from near-zero vis edu blogs, data PR etc
- Drive technical SEO oversight -indexing, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, canonical tags etc
Requirements :
- The single most important requirement: you have a specific organic traffic or lead number you personally moved - and you can tell us what it was, how you did it, and what broke along the way.
- 5–7 years in SEO, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or ownership role. Not just contributing to results, but being accountable for them.
- Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, AEO, GEO, and Programmatic SEO (pSEO).
- Experience with structured data, schema markup, entity SEO, internal linking, and content architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity.
- Experience building scalable SEO systems and automation workflows.
- Strong understanding of search intent, information retrieval, and AI-driven search experiences.
- Edtech, fintech, or high-content-volume site experience is a strong plus.
- Not the right role if: you need a six-month runway before results. This is a build-from-here role.
