About EazyGrad: We are a leading education platform empowering working professionals to discover and enroll in the right online programs and degrees, making quality learning more accessible and career-focused.

About Role: We're looking for a Head of SEO to lead our organic discovery strategy and ensure customers find us across Google, YouTube, AI platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity), social search, and other emerging discovery channels. You'll drive sustainable organic growth through Technical SEO, Programmatic SEO (pSEO), content strategy, AI optimization, and continuous experimentation.

Experience: 4-7 years of experience (Ed-tech preferred)
Location: Janakpuri, New Delhi
Mode: In-Office (5.5 Working Days)

Roles & Responsibilities & Key Requirements:

  • Own Technical SEO, On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Programmatic SEO (pSEO), and Content SEO.
  • Own EazyGrad's discoverability across search engines, AI assistants, video platforms, and social search ecosystems.
  • Build and scale pSEO initiatives to drive high-intent organic traffic.
  • Lead YouTube SEO, including keyword research, metadata optimization, playlists, and content discoverability.
  • Optimize brand visibility across AI-powered search and answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.).
  • Develop content strategies based on search intent, customer journeys, and market trends.
  • Conduct keyword, competitor, and content gap analysis to uncover growth opportunities.
  • Track and improve KPIs including organic traffic, search rankings, AI visibility, YouTube performance, and conversions.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Marketing, and Content teams to execute scalable discovery strategies.
  • Stay ahead of search algorithm updates, AI search trends, and evolving discovery platforms.
  • Proven track record as a Growth Hacker in SEO — you have a specific organic traffic or lead number you personally moved — and you can tell us what it was, how you did it, and what broke along the way.
  • 5–7 years in SEO, with at least 2–3 years in a lead or ownership role — not just contributing to results, but being accountable for them.
  • Strong expertise in Technical SEO, On-page SEO, Off-page SEO, AEO, GEO, and Programmatic SEO (pSEO).
  • Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Perplexity.
  • Experience building scalable SEO systems and automation workflows, including structured data, schema markup, entity SEO, internal linking, and content architecture.
  • Builder mindset — focused on systems, scale, and long-term impact (not just tactical execution).
  • High ownership mindset — “I drive results, not blame Google.”
  • Passion for SEO as a long-term career (not switching between PPC/ads roles).
  • Not the right fit if: you need a six-month runway before results. This is a build-from-here role.
