About the Role
We are hiring a SEO Manager to own organic search strategy end-to-end — from technical foundations to AI-driven search visibility — and to directly influence pipeline and revenue, not just traffic.
This is a senior, high-ownership role for someone who has already done this at a real B2B SaaS company or a top-tier B2B content/SEO agency working with Western clients. You'll be employed full-time and compliantly through an Employer of Record, with compensation benchmarked to senior, specialist-level SEO talent — not standard agency or generalist rates.
What You'll Do
- Own the organic search roadmap end-to-end: technical SEO, content strategy, and authority building, aligned to pipeline and revenue goals.
- Lead technical SEO initiatives — Core Web Vitals, structured data/schema, crawl and indexation health, site architecture, and log file analysis — in partnership with engineering.
- Build and execute a content and search-intent strategy that maps to the B2B buyer journey (awareness, consideration, decision).
- Develop our approach to AI search optimization / Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) — ensuring visibility and accurate representation across AI-powered search and LLM-driven discovery (e.g., AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and similar surfaces).
- Build ethical, sustainable topical authority through high-quality content, digital PR, and earned linking strategies — no PBNs, link schemes, or paid link networks.
- Own SEO analytics and reporting using GA4, Google Search Console, and tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, and Screaming Frog, translating data into clear insight.
- Connect SEO performance directly to business outcomes — organic pipeline, MQLs, and revenue influence — and report on this to marketing and business stakeholders.
- Partner cross-functionally with content, product marketing, demand gen, and engineering teams.
- Communicate regularly and confidently with North America–based stakeholders, including leadership.
What We're Looking For

6+ years of hands-on SEO experience, with a track record you can speak to in depth — strategy, execution, and measurable results.
- Current or recent experience in one of the following environments:
- A B2B SaaS company with an established organic growth function, or
- A B2B-focused SEO/content agency serving Western (US/Canada/UK) clients, or
- An in-house growth/SEO role at a Western SaaS company, working remotely from India.
- A B2B or SaaS background — this role is not a fit for candidates whose experience is primarily e-commerce, affiliate, or local SEO.
- Demonstrable experience working on US and/or Canadian search markets.
- Strong technical SEO skills: Core Web Vitals, schema/structured data, crawl and indexation, site architecture, and log analysis.
- Strong grasp of content and search-intent strategy for B2B audiences.
- Working knowledge of AI search optimization, GEO, and how LLM-driven search is changing discovery and content strategy.
- A strictly ethical, white-hat approach to authority building — no PBNs, link schemes, or guaranteed-ranking tactics.
- Proficiency with GA4, Google Search Console, and at least one of Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Screaming Frog.
- Comfort tying SEO work to pipeline, MQLs, and revenue — not just traffic and rankings.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with the confidence to communicate directly with North American stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience with product-led SaaS content or developer-focused SEO.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics/attribution tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce reporting).
- Prior experience presenting SEO strategy and results directly to founders or executive leadership.
Compensation & Engagement
- Full-time, ongoing role — not a project, freelance, or short-term engagement.
