Burson is looking for a Copywriter to join our Gurugram office. As a Copywriter, you will develop compelling, creative ideas for some of the biggest brands in India and the world. From devising creative communications strategies and brainstorming on digital ideas to scripting for digital and ad films – the canvas is as broad as your ambition – with creative thinking opportunities on over 130 clients across industries like automotive, entertainment, FMCG, IT, fashion, and telecom.
What you'll do:
- Obtain clear briefs from client teams.
- Understand different language styles that appeal to various target segments on different media/channels, and write clear, attractive copy with a distinct brand voice.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in the field of communications and creativity and implement the learnings towards client campaigns and new business pitches.
- Undertake primary and secondary research towards arriving at the campaign insight.
- Collaborate with the design, digital and film teams to come up with path-breaking concepts for current brands and new business pitches.
- Write, edit, and proofread scripts & copy as needed.
- Be a team player to support the creative team to deliver high quality work.
- Create an inclusive and welcoming environment that engage all individuals without bias and demonstrate flexibility in a changing work environment.
Experience that contributes to success:
- One-Three years of experience in a mainline/ digital agency.
- Strong command over Hindi and English, impeccable grammar and diction is a given.
- Impeccable writing & editing skills.
- A work portfolio spanning across platforms & formats.
