Job Overview

Stratfield Consulting is seeking a Copywriter to support a Fortune 100 marketing team. This role focuses on developing thoughtful, strategic, and creative copy for complex campaigns and sponsorship initiatives. From sports partnerships and regional activations to national promotional work, the Copywriter will craft messaging that connects with audiences and reflects the brand’s storytelling standards.
The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker and strong collaborator who writes with clarity, empathy, and purpose. This person will work closely with creative, strategy, and production partners to bring ideas to life across digital, social, print, and in-restaurant channels.

This is an ongoing contract hybrid position working Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop copy and contribute ideas for campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships, and activations
  • Write clear, engaging copy across digital, social, print, and in-restaurant touchpoints
  • Collaborate with art directors, designers, and project managers to ensure cohesive creative execution
  • Adapt voice and tone for different audiences and contexts while maintaining brand consistency
  • Partner with strategy and legal teams to refine messaging for clarity and compliance
  • Present creative concepts and guide work through review and feedback cycles
  • Manage multiple assignments while maintaining accuracy and high quality under tight timelines
  • Contribute to brainstorming and ideation sessions as needed

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience in an agency or fast-paced creative environment
  • Proven ability to craft on-brand messaging for integrated marketing campaigns
  • Strong conceptual thinking and creative collaboration skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting work and rationale
  • Experience developing campaign messaging hierarchies and adapting voice across mediums
  • Familiarity with marketing for sports, food and beverage, or promotional campaigns is a plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several projects simultaneously
