Main Purpose and Major Challenges of the Role

Support the organic growth of our women’s business through an intense summer discovery and seeding effort. Get us set up for the rest of the year with creators tied to product launches and consumer moments. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, understand what resonates with women’s fashion audiences and is excited to help scale a purpose-driven brand. 


Part-Time (20–30 hours/week). This role in an in-office position at our HQ in Carlsbad, CA.

 

ACCOUNTABILITY: 

 

  • Build women's creator profile 
  • Establish deep bench of brand right creators by identifying and vetting creators who align with Outerknown’s brand, aesthetic and values
  • Build and manage creator outreach lists with agency support, with a focus on ShopMy affiliates
  • Develop visual brief template 
  • Build creator/ UGC content calendar
  • Align specific creators to moments
  • Create curated product roundups and creator lists within ShopMy to drive conversions
  • Track trends in fashion, social content and affiliate marketing to inform strategy 
  • Develop seeding program – kit, inserts, etc
  • Coordinate and execute product seeding, including celebrity seeding
  • Monitor creator content and engagement across platforms 
  • Build weekly and monthly performance reports 
  • Assist with events and other business needs as they come up

  • Network of at least 100 brand right female creators 
  • Developed creator/ UGC calendar 



ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Passion for women’s fashion, sustainability and storytelling
  • Deep familiarity with Instagram, TikTok and creator ecosystems 
  • Love for social media
  • Love for working with creators to tell brand-right stories 
  • Relevant marketing coursework 
  • Understanding of brand development
  • Highly organized and comfortable working in spreadsheets and tracking workflows
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Self-starter who can take ownership and move quickly
  • Ability to be in office 3-days a week for 8 weeks
