πŸ“ Flexible – Based in Wetherill Park, NSW

πŸ’Ό Full-Time | Creative Role in a Fast-Growing Retail Brand

πŸŽ₯ Hands-On Storytelling for the Tools & Trade Industry

About Tools Warehouse

Tools Warehouse is a proudly Australian-owned tool retailer known for delivering trade-quality products at unbeatable value. With a strong online presence and a growing store network (including FNQ), we serve tradies, apprentices, and serious DIYers across the country.

We’re expanding our private-label brandsβ€”including AuzGrip, Metaltech, and Raptorβ€”and investing heavily in digital marketing, video content, and social storytelling to build a customer-first, value-driven retail experience.

The Role

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Content Creator to help bring the Tools Warehouse story to life through engaging video, photo, and social content.

This is a dynamic role for someone who’s comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, and loves producing content that’s authentic, entertaining, and built for engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, film, edit, and publish short- and long-form content for social, web, and email
  • Generate creative ideas aligned with campaigns, product launches, and seasonal marketing priorities
  • Manage and grow Tools Warehouse’s social media presence (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube etc.)
  • Be both on-camera talent and creative producerβ€”showcasing tools, demos, and trade tips
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer, Marketing Assistant, and agencies to deliver integrated campaigns
  • Track content performance and optimise based on engagement, reach, and conversions
  • Maintain brand voice and visual consistency across all content platforms

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience creating video and social media content (portfolio required)
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing tools
  • Strong understanding of social trends, algorithms, and engagement techniques
  • Basic photography, lighting, and audio skills
  • Comfortable presenting and speaking on camera
  • Organised, creative, and self-motivated
  • Experience in trades or tool retail is a big plus – perfect for an ex-tradie, apprentice, or hands-on DIYer looking to pivot into a creative career

Success Measures (KPIs)

  • Consistent content output and campaign delivery
  • Social growth (followers, reach, engagement, CTR)
  • Content alignment with brand and marketing strategy
  • Contribution to brand awareness and conversion goals

Why Join Us

  • Be part of a fast-growing, proudly Australian brand
  • Create content that reaches hundreds of thousands of tradies and DIYers nationwide
  • Hands-on creative freedom β€” we value initiative, authenticity, and experimentation
  • Career progression opportunities as our marketing and media team expands
