Part-Time Content Creator

We are seeking a creative and driven individual to produce engaging content that entertains, educates, and connects with our fans, customers, and employees. McCurley Dealerships offers a unique opportunity to create content across multiple brands, departments, and community events.

This is a part-time position for 26 hours per week on a 4-month assignment with growth potential.  (Internship available)

If you love taking ideas and turning them into engaging digital stories, and you have a knack for filming and editing, this could be a great fit. The ideal candidate has a passion for social media marketing and an interest in the automotive industry. 

Qualifications and Skills

The right candidate will be skilled with filming and editing tools (Premiere, Final Cut, Cap Cut, etc.), have strong organizational and planning abilities, good communication and collaboration skills and understand the basic marketing and storytelling concepts.1 year of experience or schooling focused on video production and image editing is preferred. 

What You’ll Do

• Create video and photo content for social, training, and marketing with a goal of up to 10 completed videos weekly.
• Plan, film, and edit branding, training, and promotional videos.
• Organize and coordinate shots with our dealership teams.
• Collaborate with our Marketing Manager on content strategy.
• Design graphics when needed to support video content.
• Post and schedule content across websites and social media, including monthly social media posts.
• Travel locally between stores and community events for filming.
• Accuracy – Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• Active Listening – Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
• Customer Oriented – Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.
• Honest/Integrity – Ability to be truthful and be seen as credible in the workplace.
• Working Under Pressure – Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.

Pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
