Content Writer Responsibilities: 
  • Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content. 
  • Generating ideas for new content types 
  • Developing content for blogs, articles, IT services we provide, social media, and the company website. 
  • Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns. 
  • Proofreading content for errors and inconsistencies. 
  • Editing and polishing existing content to improve readability. 
  • Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience. 
  • Conceive well researched, creative and original content.
  • Develop relevant technical and non-technical content for multiple platforms, such as websites, email marketing, product descriptions, blogs, social media platforms and more. 
  • Take complete ownership of the content lifecycle of a project.
  • Aptitude to work in different domains and grasp the technology. 
  • Understand the needs of each readership. 
  • Perform editorial and pre-publication reviews of peer-developed content, providing clear recommendations for improvement in spelling, grammar, and punctuation, as well as clarity and engagement. 
  
Desired Profile: 
  • Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or Mass Communication (Pls check this with other ads) 
  • Relevant industry experience in technical and non-technical writing. 
  • A portfolio of published articles. 
  • Excellent writing and editing skills (English). 
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. 
  • Effective communication skills. 
  • Impeccable grasp of the English language, including idioms and current trends 
  • Create original and creative content and a keen eye for details with out of the box thinking and offbeat ideas 
  • Strong research skills 
  • Understand social media 
  • Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for readers 
  • Well versed with Microsoft Word, Grammarly & other relevant tools 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a technically-focused content writer within an IT organization. 
  • Has worked closely with marketing teams, providing content marketing leadership, coordination, and content development. 
  • Must be aware of the laws of plagiarism. 
  • Excellent writing/editing skills, with an emphasis on creating easy-to-understand material.
