SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm and weekend hours for events

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
The Special Events Intern will assist the Special Events Team, consisting of the Special Event Manager, Special Event Specialist, Marketing & Programs Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator, in the planning, coordination, and execution of Town-sponsored and community events for the Town of Apex. This role will provide hands-on experience in event logistics, community outreach, volunteer management, and marketing. The intern will support the daily operations of special events, work with volunteers, and contribute to the successful delivery of community events that enhance civic engagement.

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Event Planning, Parks and Recreation, Communications, or a related field.
