If you're the kind of writer who cares about more than just putting words on a page, this role is for you.

We're looking for an experienced SEO Content Writer to join our Marketing team and create content that improves online visibility, attracts qualified traffic, and supports real business growth.

This isn't a role where success is simply measured by how many articles you can publish. You'll be expected to understand the why behind the content: who we're writing for, what they're searching for, what search intent sits behind the query, and how strong content can turn that search into meaningful engagement.

You'll create and optimize website content, blog articles, landing pages, and other SEO-driven materials, with Australia as the key target market. You'll work closely with the marketing team within a structured content workflow, balancing strong writing with SEO strategy, research, and performance.

You'll also have the opportunity to use AI-powered tools as part of your workflow, whether for research, ideation, analysis, or optimization. The expectation, however, is that you bring the editorial judgment, originality, and writing quality that turns AI-assisted work into genuinely useful content.

What You'll Do
You'll be the kind of person who:

Content Optimization & Management
  • Create, update, and optimize website content to improve search rankings and increase organic visibility.
  • Maintain a consistent publishing schedule and ensure content meets quality and SEO standards.
Content Quality & User Experience
  • Ensure all content is accurate, relevant, well-researched, and aligned with customer needs.
  • Maintain clear, engaging, and user-friendly website content and structure.
SEO Implementation
  • Apply on-page SEO best practices, including keyword optimization, meta titles and descriptions, header structure, internal linking, URL optimization, and other technical content elements.
SEO Performance Tracking
  • Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, engagement, and other key SEO metrics.
  • Evaluate content performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Trend & Topic Monitoring
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging topics, and relevant search opportunities.
  • Proactively develop timely, SEO-focused content that connects trending topics with the business and its target audience.

Requirements

What You Bring
We're looking for someone with:
  • 3+ years of full-time experience in SEO content writing, copywriting, communications, digital marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent written English, with strong grammar, spelling, structure, and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to produce high-quality, engaging content for corporate and business clients across different industries and audiences. Key audience is Australia.
  • Strong understanding of SEO content principles, including keyword research, search intent, on-page optimization, and content structure.
  • Comfortable using AI-powered tools to support content research, ideation, analysis, and optimization while maintaining originality and editorial quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple content projects and competing deadlines while consistently maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to understand complex topics and translate them into clear, reader-friendly content.
  • A university degree or college diploma in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with digital marketing, social media, or content analytics platforms is an advantage.
  • Relevant Google, Microsoft, LinkedIn Learning, or other recognized SEO/content marketing certifications are an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with SEO and content marketing tools, such as Semrush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, or similar platforms, is a plus.
