We’re looking for a Senior Copywriter who wants to join one of the most ambitious, hard-working brand teams out there. We’re truly obsessed with serving Healthcare Professionals (aka Awesome Humans), and the right candidate will be, too.
If you’ve been at this for a minute, maybe job descriptions with the words “rockstar” and “ninja” make you want to gouge your eyes out. We think that’s a great place to start this conversation.
Instead: You’re a Writer (with a capital W) who has strong opinions about the Oxford comma and em dashes. You’re culture-obsessed (bonus points if you love The Pitt) and are wildly self-motivated, a brilliant collaborator, and suuuper detail-oriented.
Day to day, you’ll be writing and editing copy for assets on a global scale—think scripts, ads, emails, OOH, and more. You’ll also be in the details—sweating over the small things like ensuring that every product description page is accurate, typos are a thing of the past, and that subject lines are so dialed in that the “mark as read” button doesn’t stand a chance.
This role reports directly to the Narrative Director.
What you’ll do:
- Own copy development and execution for high-impact, cross-functional initiatives—ranging from global integrated campaigns to evergreen lifecycle programs—ensuring narrative consistency across ecomm, catalog, retail, and experiential channels.
- Partner with Narrative and Creative Directors and pitch breakthrough creative concepts, shaping the voice and storytelling approach for seasonal brand moments, marquee product launches, and innovation platforms.
- Evolve the FIGS tone of voice across all regions and platforms—ensuring cultural nuance, linguistic precision, and global relevance while maintaining a bold, consistent brand identity.
- Write clear, compelling product descriptions, PDPs, and catalog copy that educate and inspire.
- Develop strategically informed scripts, headlines, lifecycle journeys, and digital ads that don’t just meet the brief—but raise the bar for creativity and business impact.
- Act as a senior creative partner to design, production, and marketing leads—collaborating across disciplines to deliver polished, insight-driven work under tight timelines.
- Interpret and integrate consumer insights, behavioral data, and testing results into copy that drives engagement, conversion, and long-term brand love.
- Elevate the standard. Push the work—and your peers—toward best-in-class creative that earns attention and drives results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism
- 7+ years of copywriting experience in a fast-paced, high-performing brand or creative agency environment—ideally in fashion, wellness, or other lifestyle sectors.
- Proven ability to craft compelling, conversion-driving copy across digital, catalog, product, and campaign touchpoints, with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience writing for a global brand, including regional nuance, localization strategies, and cross-cultural adaptation.
- Demonstrated success developing brand voice and narrative systems—and applying them with consistency and agility across platforms.
- Deep understanding of content performance, consumer behavior, and how to incorporate insights into creative work without sacrificing storytelling.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and iterating in a highly cross-functional environment.
- Fluent in internet and social culture—savvy, curious, and always two steps ahead of the next trend.
Other must haves:
- You’ve got a sense of humor (or three)
- You’re excellent at problem-solving on your own, but not afraid to ask questions when you need to
- You love a fast-paced environment (like…really fast paced)
- You’re looking for a company you can grow with
- You love a company with a real purpose that stands by its values
- You’re 100% Awesome. Just like our scrubs.
