Job Summary:

We are looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist to manage all search engine optimization activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving our website’s organic search ranking, increasing traffic, and optimizing content for better visibility across search engines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to improve website visibility and ranking on Google and other search engines.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and website audits.
• Optimize website content, landing pages, and blog articles for SEO best practices.
• Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Collaborate with content writers, designers, and developers to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
• Build quality backlinks through outreach and partnership strategies.
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and digital marketing techniques.
• Prepare and share SEO performance reports regularly with management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Proficiency in SEO tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.).
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website management (WordPress preferred).
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in media, education, or business sectors.
• Knowledge of local SEO strategies for Chennai and Tamil Nadu region.
• Basic knowledge of Google Ads and social media marketing.
