Role Overview
We seek a dynamic Sales and Digital Marketing
Intern to drive revenue growth and amplify our brand across Metro Rail
News and InnoMetro 2025. This role offers hands-on experience in B2B
sales, digital marketing, and event promotion, with exposure to
high-profile industry stakeholders. Post-internship, top performers may
transition to a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Support
- Assist
in prospecting clients (vendors, contractors, govt. bodies) for Metro
Rail News ad sales and InnoMetro exhibitor/sponsor
partnerships.
- Manage
CRM tools to track leads, client interactions, and sales pipelines.
- Prepare
pitch decks and sales collaterals tailored to rail/transportation clients.
2. Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Develop SEO-optimized content for Metro Rail News website, newsletters, and
social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram).
- Design
graphics/videos (Canva/Adobe tools) for campaigns promoting InnoMetro
2025.
- Execute email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp) to drive event registrations
and magazine subscriptions.
3. Event Promotion
- Support
marketing strategies for InnoMetro 2025 (21–22 May, Bharat Mandapam),
including social media ads, influencer collaborations, and cross-border
outreach.
- Engage
with embassies (e.g., Slovak Republic) to showcase international
rail technologies.
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor
campaign performance via Google Analytics, Meta Ads, and LinkedIn
Insights.
- Prepare
reports on lead generation, website traffic, and ROI for
sales/marketing strategies.
5. Market Research
- Identify
emerging trends in metro/rail tech to align campaigns with industry
needs.
- Analyze
competitor events and publications for strategic differentiation.
Requirements
- Pursuing/recently
completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or
Transportation Management.
- Proficiency
in MS Office, Canva, CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), and social media
platforms.
- Basic
knowledge of SEO, email marketing, and analytics tools (Google
Analytics).
- Excellent
communication skills for B2B client interactions and
cross-cultural collaboration.
- Passion
for infrastructure/transportation sectors and creative
problem-solving.
- Ability
to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines (e.g.,
event cycles)
