About the Role:

The PPC Specialist at The Marketplace Guru is responsible for managing and optimizing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising strategies for clients, ensuring account growth, and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires expertise in auditing, campaign management, keyword analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to resolve advertising challenges effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Account Auditing & Issue Resolution:

  • Prioritize "Emergency" audits to identify and resolve issues in problematic accounts.

  • Collaborate with other directors and team members to find solutions to advertising challenges.

  • Conduct Account Audits to determine the Problem Statements for Potential Clients.

  • Actively communicate with peers, managers, and clients to ensure timely task and project completion.

  • Provide clear reports, notes, and summaries of audit findings and campaign performance.

PPC Account Management:

  • Own and manage the growth of 6-8 PPC accounts for The Marketplace Guru’s clients.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain client-identified KPIs.

  • Oversee full advertising account actions, including ad segmentation, budget setting, and performance optimization.

  • Verify ad segmentation, reduce wasted ad spend & reduce ACOS.

  • Set up ads for new accounts, ensuring proper segmentation, keyword research, and budget allocation.

  • Utilize keyword analytics and discovery to develop and optimize manual campaigns, including:

    • High volume campaigns (broad, phrase, & exact match types).

    • Low volume campaigns (phrase & exact match types).

    • High relevancy campaigns (phrase & exact match types).

  • Create manual ASIN targeting campaigns, including but not limited to, defensive ASIN targeting.

Qualifications (Please Apply Only If You Meet These Requirements)

  1. At least 1 year of experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns, with a focus on Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display ads. 

  1. Certifications required from Amazon: (If you do not have these, please obtain by clicking on the links below)

  2. Experience of Helium 10

    • Product Research - Black Box

    • Keyword Research - Magnet & Cerebro

    • Analytics - Keyword Tracker

  3. SEO knowledge for Amazon optimization.

  4. Expertise in G Suite / Google Sheets with 55+ WPM (Typing Speed). 

 

Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of campaign budgeting, forecasting, running discounts, deals, promotions and a solid understanding of Amazon campaigns.

  • Proficiency in keyword analysis, campaign optimization, and reducing ad spends.

  • Proven experience in managing multiple brands and accounts, crafting strategies, and delivering results for a diverse range of clients, brands, and products on the Amazon marketplace.

Bonus Skills (A Plus for Your Application):

  • Experience with Jungle Scout, Asana and Slack for project management , product research & communication.

  • Knowledge of Excel for data management and reporting .

    • SEMrush or Ahrefs SEO Certification (for in-depth keyword and analytics skills)

  • Work Hours: 46 hours a week, with 8 hours per day.
