Develop and implement efficient production plans and schedules based on order requirements and available capacity.
Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure the timely availability of raw materials and components.
Monitor daily production progress and update schedules as needed to meet delivery timelines.
Analyse capacity utilization and recommend actions for improvement.
Generate and maintain production-related documentation, including job orders, material requirement planning (MRP), and reports.
Liaise with cross-functional teams (design, procurement, production, and quality) to resolve scheduling conflicts or delays.
Identify bottlenecks or deviations in the production process and implement corrective measures.
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Work closely with ERP systems or planning software to manage and control production workflows.
Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and control processes.
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in PPC in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Strong understanding of production planning techniques and manufacturing processes.
Knowledge of Material Requirement Planning (MRP), capacity planning, and inventory control.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / customized software).
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
