A leading global organization in the animal health and pharmaceutical sector is seeking a Marketing Copywriter to support a high-impact website relaunch project. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to craft content for a highly regulated European market, focusing on delivering precise, engaging, and compliant messaging that aligns with brand standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience writing for scientific or medical audiences and will be comfortable working in a regulated environment. This role collaborates closely with both marketing and regulatory teams, with most coordination happening across European time zones.
Develop and refine marketing content for a new web platform, ensuring alignment with European regulatory and compliance standards.
Adapt and enhance existing material to elevate clarity, engagement, and consistency with the brandβs voice and business goals.
Conduct research on medical and veterinary terminology to ensure accuracy and authoritative tone in all content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regulatory, legal, and digital marketing, to ensure content is both compliant and impactful.
Participate in strategic content planning and brainstorming sessions, providing insights based on industry best practices.
Proofread and edit content to maintain consistency, quality, and adherence to editorial and brand guidelines.
Bachelorβs degree in Marketing, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience as a copywriter within the pharmaceutical, animal health, or medical device industries.
Deep understanding of regulatory nuances in healthcare marketing, especially within a European context.
Strong command of English and excellent writing/editing skills for technical and marketing content.
Ability to synthesize complex scientific concepts into clear, consumer-facing content.
Experience managing multiple content projects under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web design tools such as WordPress, Figma, etc.
Previous experience using Veeva PromoMats or similar regulated content management systems.
Proficiency in one or more European languages (e.g., French, German, Spanish).
Knowledge of digital content strategy, SEO, and UX writing principles.
