The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study, and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high. As a Medicolegal Death Investigator, you will be conducting death investigations on an on-call basis for the Winona area under the jurisdiction of the county Medical Examiner (ME). You will respond quickly to potentially traumatic and/or disturbing death scenes and conduct examinations of decedent, confirming death, and securing decedent and property on their person. You will actively partner with team members by fostering an inclusive work environment and respecting others with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives.

• Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee.
• Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program.
• Must be returning to college in the fall.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program
SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment.
