Marketing Technical Copywriter

Working Hours: Office Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Job Summary:

AGRU America’s marketing team is looking to add a Technical Copywriter. This person will create marketing and educational material that translates complex technical information into clear, compelling, and engaging content.

Responsibilities:

• Master and refine our writing style; maintain the AGRU America style guide.
• Work closely with marketing, sales, and the technical team to develop a robust annual editorial calendar to produce three long-form blog posts each month and a quarterly externally published article.
• Track and maintain marketing collateral such as brochures, data sheets, flyers, posters, case studies, and infographics.
• Keep the AGRU America website up to date with the latest content.  
• Direct Spring and Summer Marketing Interns to support content research and development. 
• Summarize marketing activities into a monthly customer newsletter.
• Help proofread all content produced by the marketing team. 
• Any other duties that the Company in its sole discretion may assign as needed.

Required Experience:

• 2+ years of copywriting/copyediting experience at a daily, weekly, or monthly publication.
• A proven mastery of the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) or similar style guide. 
• Exceptionally organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Portfolio of written articles.

Desired:

• A college degree in science, technology, engineering, or healthcare.
• First author in a published journal article. 
• Experienced with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress. 
• Familiar with newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp.
