SUMMER MARKETING INTERNSHIP

During this internship, you will have the opportunity to partner with experienced marketing and business development professionals to learn how marketing supports growth in the structural steel and construction industry. After observing and engaging with team members across a variety of initiatives, interns will be assigned to a focused marketing project. Learning areas will include:

• Brand and Social Media Management – assist with planning and creating LinkedIn content that highlights projects, company culture, and industry expertise
• Website Content Management – support updates to company websites including new project features, blog content, content updates, and SEO-focused improvements
• Marketing Collateral Development – assist in creating brochures, capability statements, and other branded materials used for business development and recruiting
• Presentation Development – help design professional presentations for internal initiatives, leadership meetings, and client-facing opportunities
• Photography and Visual Content – capture photos of active jobsites and fabrication shop operations to support marketing, recruiting, and project storytelling
• Content Creation and Storytelling – work with teams to capture project highlights, company updates, and employee features that strengthen brand presence
• Marketing Analytics and Research – support tracking engagement metrics and researching industry trends to help guide marketing strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an undergraduate program such as Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related academic major
• Strong software skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with presentation or design tools
• Interest in social media marketing, branding, and digital communications
• Availability for a full-time schedule during the summer season
• Availability for occasional travel to fabrication shops or jobsites for photography and content capture
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and support multiple marketing initiatives across the organization
