The Marketing Intern will provide general marketing and business development support to the Marketing Department, helping to drive short-term and long-term departmental goals.
Length of Internship: May 2026 - August 2026 for 20 hours per week
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Assists the marketing department with various projects that support each of the Firm’s practice areas.
- Support the auditing and optimization of SEO keywords, meta descriptions, and other onâsite elements for the firm’s website
- Assist with auditing, posting, and ongoing management of Weltman’s Google Business Profiles
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of internal digital signage across all Weltman locations using Canva and Rise Vision
- Content creation for the Firm’s social media strategy, including the use of a social media calendar and various design templates to promote upcoming events
- Video filming and editing with various employees and attorneys at the firm
- Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and other client-facing pitch materials, working within brand guidelines.
- Audit department SOPs, website, attorney bios, internal SharePoint
- Assists in updating marketing materials for print & web, using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite.
- Assists in coordinating industry conferences, firm events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements, including advertising, materials/marketing collateral, and event follow-up.
- Develops concepts for conference booth activities and promotional item giveaways.
- Conducts market research as needed, to aid in the development of marketing, business development, and public relations plans.
- Assist in our summer bio & headshot audit – updating our attorney bios on the website as needed
- Complete all required training applicable to this position.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation is $18.29 hr.

Qualifications:
- Must be pursuing a degree or recent college graduate in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, English, or other related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint; experience with Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Photoshop) a plus.
- Attention to detail and strong project organization skills.
- Must have a professional demeanor, an enthusiastic personality, and be comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization.
