About the Role

CenTrak is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Communications Intern to support our marketing team during a busy and high-impact season. This role offers hands-on experience across content creation, social media, event marketing, and marketing operations within a fast-paced B2B healthcare technology environment.

You’ll work closely with the Marketing Communications Manager to support execution across key initiatives while gaining exposure to broader marketing strategy, campaign development, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Tradeshow Support

  • Research relevant industry tradeshows and analyze competitive presence
  • Maintain and update the marketing event calendar
  • Assist with event logistics (shipping deadlines, inventory tracking, ordering materials)
  • Organize and maintain event playbooks and documentation
  • Support pre- and post-event tasks

Content & Social Media Support

  • Brainstorm and research blog and social media content ideas
  • Draft or outline blog posts and assist with content development
  • Support social media planning and content calendar organization
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity

Content Review & Optimization

  • Edit blogs, social posts, technical documentation, and marketing materials for grammar, clarity, and consistency
  • Assist in optimizing content for readability and basic SEO best practices
  • Ensure alignment with CenTrak’s brand voice and messaging

Marketing Operations & Organization

  • Organize and maintain marketing inventory (closet, materials, signage)
  • Track and document marketing assets and resources
  • Support internal coordination to help ensure deadlines are met

Intern Project: Integrated Campaign Playbook

As a core part of the internship, you will own a strategic project:

Project: Build a CenTrak Integrated Marketing Playbook

What You’ll Do:

  • Audit current marketing channels (social, blogs, webinars, events, PR, email)
  • Research B2B healthcare and SaaS marketing best practices
  • Map how integrated campaigns should flow across channels
  • Develop templates, frameworks, and checklists for execution

Final Deliverable:
A reusable playbook including:

  • Campaign planning framework
  • Defined roles for each marketing channel
  • Timeline templates
  • Content repurposing strategy
  • Example campaign flow (e.g., tradeshow or product launch)

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Interest in B2B marketing, healthcare, or technology
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and basic marketing concepts
