The opportunity:

Hitachi Energy is seeking a skilled and creative Marketing Communications Specialist to support the Service Business globally in developing compelling, customer-focused marketing and sales materials, driving campaigns, and enhancing customer engagement in events. This role will be instrumental in crafting narratives that highlight our service offerings, customer success stories, and technical expertise, helping to position Hitachi Energy as a trusted partner in the energy transition.

How you'll make an impact:

  • You will develop and write high-quality and visually appealing content for marketing materials, including brochures, case studies, service profiles, promotions, and presentations for Internal and external use.

  • You will collaborate with subject matter experts, Global M&S stakeholders, R&D, and product managers to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.

  • You will drive global and regional Marketing campaigns and support events by producing relevant content to enhance customer engagement.

  • You will maintain and update Marketing and Sales repositories, ensuring version control and accessibility.

  • You will assist in developing strategies that align with customer journeys and personas.

  • You will ensure consistency in tone, style, and messaging across all formats.

  • You will track performance and optimize content and processes based on analytics and stakeholder feedback.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field. (Electrical / Mechanical engineering degree is a plus). Should have 5 to 7 years of experience in content writing and campaigns, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors – Energy sector is preferable.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of Transformers, High-Voltage products, system integration, and grid automation is an added advantage. Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and content management systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager).

  • Experience in writing of Marketing and sales collaterals and Campaigns. Experience with analytics tools to measure content effectiveness.

  • Adobe InDesign – Layout and Page creation, Brochure, Leaflet, Typography; Microsoft PowerPoint - Static Presentation, Interactive Presentation; Adobe Illustrator - Icon, Infographic, Logo, 2D Illustration, Chart, Diagrams.

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

  • Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro are plus. Marketing Automation tools – Eloqua, Webinar platform on24.

  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment. Multicultural experience is a benefit.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English.
