Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Marketing, the Graphic Designer / Digital Marketer will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Marketing function in the graphic design and digital space. You will be responsible for all graphic design for both internal and external marketing collateral and will also develop and implement all digital activities to grow and enhance the company's online presence. Working within a small energetic and fun team, you will be supported to execute various campaigns with a focus on both Trade and Retail/DIY customer segments and will have a sales driven approach to day-to-day activity. We are looking for an enthusiastic, can-do person, who enjoys juggling multiple projects at once, is deadline driven and solution focused.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing the fulfilment of digital campaigns to meet agreed targets.
- Assisting in the development and execution of digital based strategies to increase customer engagement and drive revenue results.
- Monitoring and analysis of the performance of advertising campaigns.
- Working closely with the Marketing Coordinator on executing marketing collateral through social media, EDM’s and website.
- Working with the marketing team and internal departments to scope, brief and manage the execution of communications and promotions across all digital channels.
- Developing a planned schedule of email marketing campaigns to address sales, customer engagement and customer retention requirements.
- Developing innovative, engaging and on-brand social content for all social platforms, ensuring the use of engaging images/videos, animating posts/stories, scheduling, promoting, and reporting on post success.
- Managing all social media communities ensuring all posts, comments, DMs, and reviews are responded to promptly.
- Updating digital communication channels as required (e.g., website, socials, digital display screens, etc.)
- Assisting the Marketing Coordinators with event/promo activities.
- Creating and designing content for social media channels.
- Writing content for websites and blogs.
- Responding to marketing and customer queries via phone, email, and social media.

In addition, the successful applicant will need to have:
- 2-3+ years in graphic design tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Premier, Canva). Must have experience using InDesign.
- Experience in conceptualizing and producing a variety of innovative and engaging content types.
- Minimum 2+ year’s experience in Social Media management.
- Proven experience in creating and executing successful marketing campaigns across social media, EDM’s and paid advertising.
- Proven experience with using web analytics and site reporting skills that drive insights and recommendations.
- Be able to work autonomously and in a team environment.
- The ability to engage with people at multiple levels by coordinating and/or managing up and down on projects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience using social media scheduling platforms and website content management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Creative thinker with experience in identifying target audiences and executing campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
- Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, HotJar).
- Working knowledge of front-end web applications like WordPress (HTML) (desirable).
- A team player, collaborative, confident and open approach to the workplace.
