The UMB Events & Sponsorships team is responsible for managing the bank’s large sponsorships (e.g. Denver Nuggets, Kansas City Royals) and client event experiences. This includes strategic planning, communications with internal leadership and lines-of-business stakeholders, and coordination with external partners, client attendees, and external vendors. The team also supports our regional teams across 14 states with marketing materials for smaller, local sponsorships and client events.

As the Events & Sponsorships Marketing Intern, you will handle multiple tasks in support of sponsorship activation campaigns and client event experiences across all lines-of-business.

How you will spend your time:

  • Engaged in strategic planning cycle, including budget management, project management, communications coordination, advertising/branding materials development, and measurement reporting
  • Supporting sponsorship activation projects
  • Cataloging our sponsorship and marketing assets
  • Supporting preparation and planning for client event experiences
  • Participating in team planning meetings

Compensation Range:

$25,640.00 - $49,440.00
