US Instructional & Assessment Content Writer

A fast-growing player in the US-focused K-12 educational technology and digital assessment sector, we create standards-aligned curriculum, formative and summative assessments, and adaptive learning content for schools, districts, and edtech partners. Our distributed team produces classroom-ready instructional modules and validated assessment items that drive measurable learning outcomes across remote and blended learning environments.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Author clear, standards-aligned instructional content and assessment items (multiple choice, constructed response, performance tasks) for US K-12 audiences.
  • Map content and items to US Common Core and state standards; tag by standard, depth of knowledge, and Bloom’s taxonomy level.
  • Create rubrics, scoring guides, and item metadata; perform bias and sensitivity reviews to ensure fairness and cultural appropriateness.
  • Work with SMEs and product teams to iterate on item quality, psychometric suitability, and curriculum coherence.
  • Upload and maintain items in item banking systems and collaborate on item lifecycle activities (pilot, field test, revision).
  • Adhere to editorial style guides, accessibility guidelines, and project timelines while participating in QA and cross-functional reviews.
