About Trialfacts
We recruit participants for clinical trials, connecting academic researchers and commercial sponsors with the right people for their studies. Our clients are primarily academic health researchers at universities in the US and Australia, with a growing commercial segment that includes pharma and biotech sponsors.
We've been doing this for 19 years. 1,097 studies. 476 client organisations. 35,000+ participants enrolled. 35 team members across 7 countries. Our mission is to accelerate cures in 10 major diseases, and the work your marketing supports has a direct line to studies that could become real treatments.
Our recruitment campaigns run across the US and Australia, supporting studies at institutions like Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. With over 1,000 studies completed and a 0.7% refund rate, the foundation is strong. Now we're investing in the team that keeps it that way.
What you'll do
- Write promotional content that drives action. You'll create ad copy, headlines, questionnaires, landing page text, emails, and other campaign materials designed to improve click-through rates, signups, and referral quality for clinical trial recruitment campaigns. Your writing will help everyday people understand and engage with research opportunities that could impact major health conditions.
- Translate complexity into clarity. Clinical trial protocols and medical documents can be dense and technical. You'll turn that information into clear, engaging, patient-friendly messaging without losing accuracy. You'll work closely with Paid Ads Specialists and campaign teams to align messaging with audience behavior and campaign goals.
- Improve campaign performance through iteration. You'll revise copy based on feedback from internal teams, clients, and ethics boards, while also learning from campaign data and past studies. You'll help document what works, identify patterns in high-performing copy, and contribute ideas for improving templates, messaging, and workflows over time.
- Support quality and consistency. You'll conduct QA scoring and review promotional materials for clarity, accuracy, grammar, tone, and adherence to guidelines before campaigns go live. Attention to detail matters because small wording changes can significantly impact performance and user understanding.
- Collaborate in a fast-moving remote team. You'll work across teams to support campaign execution, contribute to discussions around messaging and performance, and help ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
You're a strong fit if you
- Have strong written English skills and can write clearly, concisely, and naturally for different audiences and formats
- Can simplify technical or complex information into language that everyday people can easily understand
- Are detail-oriented and catch inconsistencies, awkward phrasing, and errors before work goes live
- Can balance speed with quality in a deadline-driven environment
- Are coachable and comfortable receiving feedback and revising work multiple times
- Have experience writing marketing, advertising, social media, email, or conversion-focused content
- Are comfortable using AI tools, Google Docs, project management tools, and remote collaboration platforms
- Can manage repetitive work while still maintaining consistency, accuracy, and quality
- Enjoy learning and continuously improving your writing based on results and feedback
This role is for you if
- You enjoy writing with a purpose and care about whether your work actually performs, not just whether it sounds good
- You're naturally curious about people, psychology, and what motivates someone to take action
- You want to develop strong direct-response and performance marketing copywriting skills
- You like structured, focused work while still having room for creativity and problem-solving
- You want meaningful work that contributes to advancing health research and helping patients access clinical trials
- You're comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating closely with a global team
This role is probably not for you if
- You strongly prefer purely creative or brand-focused writing without performance goals or constraints
- You struggle with repetitive refinement, revisions, or feedback on your work
- You dislike detail-heavy work or working within compliance and approval processes
- You prefer highly social office environments over independent remote work
- You're looking for a highly strategic leadership role rather than a hands-on execution-focused writing role
