Job Summary:

Optimize Consulting is seeking a talented and motivated Copywriter with specific experience in fundraising to join our team. This role focuses primarily on crafting persuasive fundraising emails, text messages, and social media ads, but may also include developing content internal documents and other marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fundraising and direct response copy, with the ability to write for a variety of audiences and platforms. Our client base consists mostly of right-of-center advocacy groups, so candidates should be comfortable writing content that aligns with their missions and values, regardless of personal beliefs.

Responsibilities:

• Craft compelling, results-driven copy for fundraising emails, ad creative, internal communications, and other marketing materials.
• Develop tailored messaging strategies that resonate with each client’s audience and drive donor engagement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand client goals, target audiences, and project requirements.
• Conduct research to ensure all copy is informed, accurate, and aligned with the client’s mission and tone of voice.
• Optimize content for performance, including A/B testing, subject line development, and audience segmentation strategies.
• Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven adjustments to maximize impact and donor conversion.
• Assist in brainstorming and conceptualizing creative strategies to enhance overall client fundraising efforts.
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and legal considerations for fundraising and political communications.
• Work efficiently within project management systems like Asana to track tasks and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Experience with writing results-driven copy for fundraising emails, ad creative, internal communications, and other marketing materials.
• Highly developed remote work skills, including familiarity with messaging and task management platforms
• Independent and entrepreneurial work ethic
  

Benefits:

• Salary range of $55,000-$75,000 (depending on experience)
