We are searching for a Copywriter in Richardson, TX to develop and promote brand voice, positioning client’s products and services, conceptual development and copy deliverables for a wide range of products including advertising, print, online, video, email and other forms of interface design .
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Research, create, develop and edit content – print, online, video scripts as well as manage the “brand voice” of the organization
- Develop positioning and messaging for products and services
- Implement periodic reviews, processes and procedures to ensure all available content, both print and online, are accurate, up to date and relevant to users’ and the organization’s needs
- Copy, edit and proofread content for print, web, email and social media content
- Maintain a consistent and client brand voice throughout all print and online media properties
- Develop, maintain, and enforce editorial style guidelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the company to maintain relevant content to meet business goals
Qualifications – Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in creating content for publications, online advertising campaigns, email and video marketing campaigns
- Ability to manage multiple projects/work streams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Collaborating with creative team members to determine the conceptual and copy direction of branding and advertising initiatives
- Working with design directors and designers to ensure copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style
- Interacting with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics
- Translating creative direction and copy points from creative briefs into engaging and effective copy concepts
- Maintaining high standards of copywriting and exercising quality control on all copy
- Ability to think critically and organize information
- Strong interest in addressing and advocating for the end-user experience
- Working knowledge of graphic design and information architecture methodologies
- Proven understanding of content management and usability principles and practices
- Excellent copywriting, editing, proofreading and grammar skills
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong collaborative skills
- Experience with technology markets
- Successful Cross-functional and cross-organizational teaming where influence, rather than control, is required to achieve goals.
- Involvement with formal and informal market research projects and processes relating to communications.
- Proven informal leadership qualities
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Self-starter someone who can take initiative, develop new ideas, etc.
