Job Purpose
Welldoc is seeking a skilled health tech Copywriter to be part of an impact-driven culture that focuses on innovation and building respect. This role is responsible for crafting compelling and engaging copy that aligns with our overall product vision and goals, engaging both B2C and B2B audiences. As a Welldoc Copywriter, you will bring your hands-on approach and natural storytelling ability to create impactful communication pieces and campaigns across various mediums. Working closely with our marketing and design teams, you will ensure that all copy adheres to our brand voice and style guide, conveying a consistent message to target audiences.
Responsibilities
· Conduct background research and gather information from key stakeholders across teams
· Create content that spans multiple channels including digital, print, and long form content
· Support corporate communications as applicable
· Formatting, editing content, and proofreading
· Ensuring the consistency of content and brand tone of voice for different audiences
· Partner with the creatives to make the idea, copy, and design a cohesive story
· Research competitors and the industry to provide insight into trends and creative foresight
· Ensure all copy meets industry standards, core claims and compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
· 3-5+ years of experience in copywriting and copyediting in the healthcare and health tech industries, both to support B2C and
· Juggle multiple projects, prioritize, and meet deadlines
· Ability to write clear, concise, and engaging copy for a variety of audiences
· Demonstrated ability to maintain a consistent brand voice while navigating the constraints of a regulated medical device environment
· Strong understanding of the principles of effective copywriting, including story flow, tone, style, and readability
· Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work from long-form thought leadership to short-form UX/Digital copy
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Experience working alongside clinical teams and ability to translate complex clinical information into simplified consumer language
· Experience and proficiency working with AI-based writing tools
· Have a keen understanding of core marketing channels
· Experience with UX writing; SEO and GEO are a plus
· Start-up experience is a plus
· Agency background is preferred
Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.

Compensation & Benefits
Welldoc offers a competitive compensation package which, in addition to salary, includes generous PTO, medical insurance, dental insurance, vision care, life and disability insurance, retirement benefits. and the opportunity to participate in health savings accounts and/or dependent care accounts. The anticipated salary range for this position is 80-110K/year with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Candidates who exceed the required and preferred qualifications may be considered for an annual salary in excess of the budgeted range.
Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company’s customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered all applicable laws.
