The position:

We’re looking for a Content Writer to develop helpful, easy-to-follow resources for FYI users. Working closely with the Content team, Product, QA and Client Success, you’ll turn platform functionality and workflows into user-focused resources such as Help Centre articles, guides and learning materials. Your content will help clients understand how FYI works, adopt features more effectively and increase their ability to self-service.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Translate technical platform features into clear, user-focused content that supports both new and existing users.
  • Create and maintain Help Centre articles, FAQs, onboarding materials, release notes and product communication.
  • Develop content that supports feature adoption and reduces avoidable support enquiries.
  • Identify content gaps using feedback and user insights, and contribute to continuous improvement of documentation standards.
About you:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience writing user-facing content, ideally within a SaaS or technical environment.
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into clear, structured and easy-to-understand content.
  • High attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, clarity and consistency across content.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take ownership of high-quality outcomes.
  • Understanding of accounting workflows or previous experience using FYI is highly advantageous.

You’ll need valid working rights in Australia and the ability to complete satisfactory background and verification checks, as part of our standard recruitment process.
