Job Description

The copywriter is responsible for crafting clear, compelling, and persuasive written content across a range of marketing channels, including advertising campaigns, social media, websites, and promotional materials. You will work closely with art directors, designers, and account teams to translate client objectives and brand messaging into creative concepts and copy that resonate with target audiences.

The role involves understanding the client’s brand voice, audience insights, and campaign goals, while generating ideas, editing content for clarity and impact, and ensuring consistency across all communications. You will also collaborate in brainstorming sessions, contribute to pitch materials, and adapt messaging to suit different formats, ultimately driving engagement, brand awareness, and measurable results for our clients.

  • High level conceptual thinking and idea generation 
  • Knowledge of client’s brands and overall strategy 
  • Writing clear, persuasive and original copy 
  • Working on several campaigns at once, under pressure and to tight deadlines 
  • Advise 'would be' creatives and reviewing portfolios  
  • All work should be completed to the highest creative standard that budget and time allows 
  • Amending and revising campaigns according to feedback from the creative director or clients 
  • Attend client meetings for developing creative strategy 
  • Present creative ideas to client 
  • Overseeing the execution and following through production of various marketing concepts, ensuring BMF standards are kept at all stages of the process 
  • Working in partnership with members of account management and production to successfully deliver the best creative outcome 
  • Discussing ideas and progress with the Creative Director or Executive Creative Director 
  • Liaise with third party suppliers 

Qualifications

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Understanding of marketing, branding, and advertising principles.
  • Familiarity with digital and social media platforms and their content requirements.
  • Knowledge of SEO, content strategy, and basic UX writing principles is a plus.
  • Previous copywriting experience in an advertising, creative, or marketing agency.
  • Portfolio demonstrating versatility across campaigns, digital, print, and social media.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams (designers, art directors) and account managers.
  • Ability to craft compelling narratives aligned with brand voice and client objectives.
  • Experience in brainstorming, concept development, and pitch support.
  • Understanding of consumer insights and how to translate them into persuasive messaging.
  • Experience meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary Expectations - 120 - 140k
