Sr. Engineer/AM-PPC & SCM

BE(Mech) with 5- 8 yrs

REPORTING TO

Senior Manager-PPC & SCM

Automotive components Manufacturing(Machining Background)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Releasing the Production plan, planning for materials, co-ordination with Production & Warehouse for delivering product on time to the Customer
• Implementing key Planning activities like MRP, working to reduce excess and optimize revenue and OTD (On time delivery)
• In depth understanding of planning activities from receipt of customer order, acknowledgment to release of PO and the Shipments
• In depth understanding of Production process & procedures (Monitoring daily outputs, and taking care of daily issues). And Co-ordination with Engineering team
• Inventory management (raw materials, WIP, finished goods)
• Supplier relationship management
• Monitor and update the MM (Material Master), BOM (Bill of Material) and routing in the ERP system
• Place Purchase Requisitions for BOP (Bought out Parts) & RM and ensure
• Purchase orders are sent to Suppliers - Domestic & Import
• Manage Phase In / Phase Out (NPI) to minimize obsolete material
• .Plan Supplier visit, Internal and External when required
• Perform additional duties as assigned (Tooling Cost/ Price Revision)
• Release Schedules to Suppliers and Follow-up on Regular Basis

REQUIREMENTS

• Should be proficient in MS Office Applications
• SAP Knowledge added advantage
• Proficient in English
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Good in Decision making and problem solving skills
• .Conduct Audits & Maintaining Audit reports of suppliers as per ISO/TS 16949:2009
