The Role:

Due to the success of our business, we are looking to recruit a Senior PPC Executive You will be supporting in the implementation and optimisation of our keyword and PPC strategy. The candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Google Ad-Words with experience in driving brand awareness and conversions within a B2C environment. In addition to a thorough knowledge of PPC search campaigns, they’ll also lead in the setup and monitoring of our display and YouTube advertising, developing a funnel approach to move leads from brand awareness to conversion.

You will also possess an in-depth knowledge of GA4 and its reporting and analytics capabilities, using this information to understand success and influence change and have a hands-on approach to the way you work and be excited to collaborate with the wider marketing team, bringing creative concepts and approaches to the way we use PPC in the business and the campaigns ran through this channel.

The chosen candidate would benefit from having experience in short and long-tail key words and SEO best practices, as well as a working knowledge of CMS (e.g. WordPress) and email automation (e.g. HubSpot) platforms.

As our Senior PPC Executive your key responsibilities will be:

  • Own the day-to-day running of toob’s PPC approach using search, display and YouTube advertising to maximise brand awareness, meeting pre-agreed KPIs to track performance
  • Work with the Performance Marketing Manager to define our PPC strategy, identifying and optimising ads, audience sets and targeting, based on trends, data and insights, to deliver against growth targets
  • Refine and optimise our keyword strategy for PPC, as well as supporting in SEO keyword strategy – understanding the impact of the keywords and associated audiences and costs that sit behind this
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the wider marketing team to ensure timely and relevant PPC (Display/Performance Max and YouTube) content is created in line with our propositions, campaigns and competitors’ activities
  • Responsible for tracking, reporting, and analysing the performance of digital marketing activities relating to PPC/Google AdWords
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of GA4, Looker Studio and more to accurately report on performance and trends
  • Have a working knowledge of keyword tools like SEMrush, in order to identify new keywords and markets
  • Own the PPC budget, ensuring we keep to agreed spend while maximising our exposure across our network
  • Work with the campaign team to successfully launch new towns and network growth across PPC
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology, market trends, and consumer behaviour online.
  • Analyse A/B and Multi-variate tests, communicate results and supply recommendations on Google Ads.
  • Support in raising of tagging requests and IT tickets, in order to deliver improvements to our PPC strategy

What you’ll bring to toob: 

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office inc. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly proficient in Google AdWords, Bing, GA4 and supporting analytics tools
  • Experience in using online programmes and software to help analyse digital channel performance
  • A strong analytical and commercial mindset with proven ability to see and react to trends in the data
  • Prior experience in implementation of ads across paid digital channels
  • Ability to work strategically, analysing performance and providing next steps and recommendations to improve and develop the performance of our PPC approach
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Preferred but not essential: Experience in paid social channels and automated email platforms, ideally HubSpot

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience working in Digital Marketing with a focus on SEO/PPC
  • Prior experience in similar role
  • Marketing, Digital Marketing or similar degree or equivalent working experience
  • Lead/demand generation experience.
  • Experience in B2C and/or B2B marketing.
  • Good knowledge of analytical software, such as Google Analytics.
